INDUSTRY INSPO Clever And Classy Balmain Riffs On The Classic Jolie Madame Silhouette

Balmain recently gifted Instagram with a snippet of Josephine Le Tutour and Rachide Embalo in a rework of Monsieur Pierre Balmain’s classic Jolie Madame silhouette. The modern everyday uniforms are, as in usual Balmain style, startlingly contrasting and distinctive, but retain the style that is immediately recognisable as Balmain.

The filming is fun, stylish, with a hint of sleek, with a “lazy Susan” perspective that is just downright cool. The new Fall/Winter 2020 collection will be available in store and on Balmain’s website soon.
